a sterile, non-sectarian observation that would seem to challenge MSH if one reads it with lenses firmly in place… but maybe not. It is this: bad cosmology makes for bad theology [in that order], and bad Eschatology makes for bad theology [in that order].

    • MSH

and why is this a challenge to me?

Tell the video/audio to make the audio mono — it’s only on the right channel right now.

      will do

I was wondering about the temple as you mention it in the talk but my question is unrelated, We know the Temple was tri-partate modeling the ANE cosmology that was tri-partate as a reflection of Gods temple….so my question is with the common tri-partate theme here is there any connection or further information that could be gained from the Divine council being made up in a tri-partate formate ?

Good job on avoiding the word presupposition in the talk, you made it to 20 mins, was that conscious effort lol

OK I’ve been patient long enough…. on to #2!!

Michael the section from 0:1:00 to the Questions/Answers is the best. i preach that to anyone who will listen [which is not a big number…]

not sure you meant by the “patient” comment – did I miss something?

  6. Richard Brown

sorry Michael, my comment was in jest – i meant it as enthusiasm, not critique.
I look forward to the other installments.

I have often said that most generations of christians have the ‘luxury’, if you will, of getting eschatology wrong, but for the generation alive at the culmination, it will mean everything.
    Acts 1:11.
