An Appropriate Rebuke to Those Who Would Argue Genetic Similarity Between Humans and ET Life Would Support Naturalistic Evolution

From Uncommon Descent.  The quotation is what caught my eye.  It amazes me how many times I hear that a high genetic similarity between human life and any intelligent ET life (should it ever be proven) means that (a) evolution has been proven; or (b) ET made us.  Both conclusions are quite illogical.
