More clear theological thinking from the catholic church. Honestly, this is muddled in so many ways: from baptismal regeneration to the failure to read the clear words of Romans 5:12, that it is HUMANITY that is morally guilty and in need of atonement for the sin of a HUMAN. Just stupefying.

Nice post! What do you think of Marie George’s work (“ET Meets Jesus Christ”, “Christianity and Extraterrestrials”)? She seems to support your point (although she uses Hebrews 2:14 as the crux and Romans to back it up), despite (I assume) having a somewhat different understanding of the theology of baptism.
