Lexham English Bible Old Testament Now Available

by drmsheiser | Feb 13, 2012

Some readers know that my employer, Logos Bible Software, has been working on a new translation of the Bible for some time. The New Testament of the LEB (Lexham English Bible) has been available since 2010. Logos announced today that the LEB-OT is now available for download. The OT follows the Masoretic Text. The translation has a lot of footnotes as well with respect to literal readings and textual issues. I contributed to the translation (Genesis, 1-2 Chronicles, Micah, Habakkuk, Zephaniah). Check it out!

Thanks, Dr. Heiser. As an aside, I’ve decided your are right about eschatology. There doesn’t appear to be anyway to create a system in this area.

Thanks for your post, it does not seem to have been well marketed by Logos or Lexham. I discovered the LEB OT on my PC by chance after a few days!
Any idea of when the LEB Reverse Interlinear will be avilable?
I bought Logos 4 some years back with the hope of a NIV Reverse Interlinear for the OT. I’m guessing with the switch to NIV 2011 we’ll wait another few years?
