I've been on three talk shows in the last week or so (Skywatchers Radio, Coast to Coast AM, and Dark Grand Conspiracy). On two of them the Majestic Documents got a good bit of air time. The discussion prompted me to clog some resources related to the Majestic...

U. S. Navy Awarded a Patent for Triangular UFO in 2016
I've blogged before about how there are patents, dirigibles, and other man-made craft that may easily be mis-identified as alien spacecraft. Here's a fascinating article (I found it via the Giza Death Star blog by Joseph Farrell) on the Navy's patent. You'll love the...
Short Summary of an Episode in UFO Infamy: the Paul Bennewitz Affair
I've often referred to the Bennewitz affair in conversation about how certain U.S. government agencies and personnel are not above using UFO believes as tools to perpetuate a UFO narrative they find useful (read: a useful myth designed to misdirect away from something...
Interview with Annie Jacobsen on DARPA
I was fortunate to spend some time with Derek and Sharon Gilbert last week in Missouri. One of the things we talked about briefly was Annie Jacobsen's work. I highly recommend her books Area 51: An Uncensored History of America's Top Secret Military Base and Operation...
True Conspiracy Theories
I'd like to direct readers to another compelling piece by Jack Brewer over at the UFO Trail. This one is about conspiracy theories that are demonstrably not theoretical -- they're real. Naturally, I have some (post-Portent: subliminal plug) thoughts. Jack's focus is...
Alien Abduction, Contact, and Mind Control
Jack Brewer over at The UFO Trail has begun a two-part series on the CIA's mind-control programs. UFO Religions readers (and Facade fans) will want to read Part One, along with an earlier essay on John Marks, the researcher who blew the lid off the secrecy. John Marks...
Newly-Released CIA MK-ULTRA Documents
I saw this today on Twitter. Apparently the newly-released material is the result of the tenacious efforts of John Greenewald and his amazing Black Vault website. Here's a link to the Black Vault archive for CIA mind control programs, including MK-ULTRA.
MJ-12—The Hoax That Quickly Became a Disinformation Operation
That's the title of an essay by Robert Hastings. It's well worth the read, as it does more than beat a dead horse. It has a number of salient details that should convince any clear-thinking person that the Majestic documents should not be trusted. This paragraph...
MJ-12 Mythology and Retail Ufology
For all those interested in the Majestic Documents, MJ-12, and the related Roswell UFO case, I recommend that you read the ongoing series / debate occurring over at the UFO Chronicles website. Here are the list of posts (as of today) in chronological order of their...
American UFO News of Interest
The National Archives recently de-classified records concerning a USAF project from the 1950s that aimed to build flying saucers. The schematic below is one of the pictures found at the above link. The project was known as "Project 1794." I've seen several posts on...
Nick Redfern Final Events Lecture Online
Readers may recall that I reviewed Nick Redfern's book, Final Events and the Secret Government Group on Demonic UFOs and the Afterlife on this blog back in 2010. Nick has posted a lecture on the book and its content here. Having heard Nick lecture before, I'd...
The ET Mythology as a Propaganda Tool, continued
This is a follow-up to my earlier post in regard to the article on how folklore served as a useful propaganda tool in Nazi Germany. The article was meant to point out that governmental power, totalitarian or otherwise, often makes use of "big picture" ideas - BELIEFS...
The Roswell Crash: Nothing to do with Extraterrestrials
If you have not yet read Nick Redfern's two books on the Roswell UFO incident, you should. Body Snatchers in the Desert: The Horrible Truth at the Heart of the Roswell Story The Roswell UFO Conspiracy: Exposing A Shocking And Sinister Secret Nick believes the Roswell...
That NY Times / Department of Defense UFO Video Story … Unraveling?
You have to wonder after reading this essay at Wired.com: "What is Up with those Pentagon UFO Videos?" The article basically traces the history of the videos that accompanied the now famous NT Times article about a secret government program investigating UFOs (the...
On Those “Alien Alloys” Noted in the NYT Report on the DOD UFO Program
Here's an interesting piece from Scientific American (SA) on one point of the UFO story of a week or so ago from the New York Times. The claim SA is objecting to is this one: "In a group of buildings in Las Vegas, the government stockpiles alloys and other materials...
